About Verdi Yellow
Verdi Yellow is the warmest grade in the Verdi Ghazal family, which runs from light through medium to dark green; suppliers sort it by shade, so specify Yellow rather than simply Verdi to avoid receiving a greener stone. The golden-olive field is unusual among granites and pairs well with cream limestones such as Galala or Katrina. It is a dense igneous granite with low absorption and good frost resistance, used outdoors as well as in, and polished to intensify the gold or flamed to open the texture for grip. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Verdi Yellow and Verdi Green?
They are shade grades of the same Verdi Ghazal granite. Verdi Yellow has golden-yellow and olive undertones; Verdi Green (Dark Verdi Ghazal) is a deep green-grey with black and grey crystals. Light and Medium grades sit between them.
Is Verdi Yellow suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Suppliers cite low water absorption and strong frost and weather resistance, and list it for exterior cladding, courtyard paving, garden steps and pool surrounds. Choose a flamed finish for external floors.
